We’re proud of the food we serve at Gökyüzü, but it’s the people who walk through our doors that truly make this place what it is. Over the years, we’ve been lucky to welcome guests from all over London (and beyond!), each with their own reason for stopping by.

Some visit to mark life’s big moments – birthdays, anniversaries, graduations. Others just swing by after work for their favourite dish or bring the whole family in for a relaxed Sunday meal. Whatever the reason, we always want you to feel like you’re coming home.

One thing we hear time and time again is: “It feels like I’m back in Türkiye.” That’s the kind of compliment we never take for granted. It tells us we’re doing something right, from the food on your plate to the way we greet you at the door.

Over the years, we’ve heard some amazing stories – couples who had their first date here and now come back every year to celebrate, families who’ve been dining with us for over a decade, and regulars who drive across town just to get their lamb shish fix (no judgement – we get it!).

These stories are why we do what we do. It’s more than just cooking. It’s about creating a space where memories are made, milestones are marked, and everyone feels welcome.
